Sheriff Sales

Minnesota Sheriff Sales

Law firms and lenders rely on our sheriff's sale representation at mortgage foreclosure auctions. We attend local sheriff sales and bid on behalf of the lender to protect the lenders interest in the property being sold.

When your schedule is too busy to attend the sheriff’s sale, send our representative to attend the foreclosure sale to bid on your behalf. Legal Process Minnesota will travel, open the bidding and record the sheriff's certificate of sale while you continue to work on other projects.

Sheriffs Sale Representation Duties

  • Retrieve publisher's affidavit of publication, if needed (special request)
  • Appear in-person at the sheriff's sale as the lenders bidder
  • Bid according to your instructions
  • Obtain third-party bidder information
  • Record the Sheriff’s Certificate of Sale at the appropriate county department
  • A sale confirmation message and invoice provided immediately after the sale
